The Coast is pleased to present "Savage Love Live" on Thursday, October 3rd as part of The Coast's 20th Anniversary celebrations. "Savage Love" is a weekly sex advice column written by newspaper columnist, TV personality and activist Dan Savage. Savage and his husband Terry Miller have recently sparked a global movement with the "It Gets Better Project", whose videos have been viewed over 50 million times. The project started with a YouTube video inspiring hope for LGBT youth after a number of students were taking their own lives after being bullied in school.
Savage Love has appeared since 1996 in The Coast, the first newspaper in Canada to carry Savage's column. Now Savage Love is syndicated in newspapers and websites throughout the United States, Canada, Europe and Asia. Savage is the Editorial Director of The Stranger, Seattle's weekly alternative newspaper, and his writing has appeared in publications including The New York Times, The New York Times Magazine, GQ, Rolling Stone, The Onion, and on Salon.com. His latest book is American Savage: Insights, Slights, and Fights on Faith, Sex, Love and Politics
Come and participate in a sex talk with Dan. He's the best in the business.
