Known for their reoccurring roles as Jay and Silent Bob in “Clerks,” “Mallrats,” “Dogma,” “Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back” and “Clerks 2,” Smith and Mewes have developed a chart topping podcast based around their legendary characters. The podcast regularly charts in the top spot on iTunes Comedy and the duo have taken it on the road, telling their stories to audiences at festivals, clubs and theatres around the world.

With a number of critically acclaimed hit movies, Smith has spent almost two decades infiltrating the entertainment industry on almost every level with his company View Askew Productions. Most recently he released the independent horror movie "Red State" featuring John Goodman. He has also written a series of comics, interviewed celebrities for a variety of media outlets and now hosts another regular podcast entitledSModcast with long time friend and business partner Scott Mosier on SIR, Smodcast Internet Radio.
